A video conference was held on Sept 12 in which six Guiyang municipal departments, including the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, rolled out seven specific polices for local enterprises, merchants guilds, and related social groups to be committed to consolidating the results achieved by the rural poverty eradication cause.

The seven policies target rural prosperity and agricultural productivity among rural industries, talent, culture, ecology, and organizations.

The precise poverty alleviation model, in which enterprises are assigned to certain villages and are partly responsible for their development, will remain an excellent model to follow.

Firms are also called on to participate in special agriculture, including shareholding, joint operation, entrusted operation, and investment. Integrated development among the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries can be achieved by adhering to the "leading firms + production bases + rural households" and "leading firms + rural cooperatives + rural households" models.

Circulation private enterprises are encouraged to establish stable major cross-regional agricultural product supply bases and build sales platforms. They are also advised to develop initial and intense processing, stocking, cold-chain logistics, or e-commerce to promote special agricultural product marketing.

Meanwhile, the Guiyang and Guian governments will mobilize provincial and municipal commercial groups and their member companies to provide new jobs to relocated residents and allow them to take part in the construction of three beautiful pilot villages in Qingzhen city, Xifeng and Xiuwen counties, and launch charity campaigns to improve rural public infrastructure in medical care, education, water pipe networks, sanitary work, and cultural spaces.
