At the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade, or CIFIT – held in Southeast China's Fujian province's Xiamen city on Sept 8-11 – Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, showcased its achievements in industrial upgrading and high-quality development in recent years.
As China's only international event aiming to promote two-way investment, CIFIT not only brings funds, projects and a broader vision – but is also a dynamic platform for exhibitors to market their images, boost their opening up and seek commercial deals and cooperation.
As one of the country's most appealing cities for investment participating in the fair, Guiyang set up a 90-square-meter display stand to demonstrate its digital economy, natural environment, urban development and industrial development.
At the exhibition area, visitors could scan a QR code to join a lottery and win gifts such as Guiyang food, souvenirs and scenic spot tickets.
Guiyang also presented a display wall that introduced the city's vehicle industrial supply chain – including the phosphorus chemicals industry, aluminum intensive processing, parts for new energy vehicles, battery materials, passenger cars, vehicle manufacturing and after-sales services for vehicles.
Guiyang hopes to keep the momentum established at CIFIT going – continuing to promote and market its development achievements, its competitive advantages in the opening-up process and attractive industrial characteristics. The goal is to attract more investment for high-end industrial cooperation and trade exchanges.
