Xiuwen county reported by Economic Daily

The front page of the Economic Daily published an article entitled Mapping a New Rural Pattern on Nov 23, which explored efforts by Xiuwen county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, to improve its rural living environment.

Economic Daily is a major economy-focused media outlet run by the State Council.

The report stated that since last year, the county has been implementing housing, water, garbage, toilet and wind control, and promoted the continuous improvement of its rural living environment and consolidate achievements in poverty alleviation.

Moving forward, Xiuwen county will continue to improve its rural environment, boost industrial development, and broaden channels for farmers to increase their incomes.
