Guiyang and Guian in Southwest China's Guizhou province have taken targeted measures to prevent people who have been lifted out of poverty from becoming poor again, local media reported.
The Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, together with the departments of civil affairs and housing and urban-rural development, has made concrete efforts to supervise and identify the groups of people in need of subsistence allowances from the government and whose houses are dilapidated and too dangerous for renovation, as well as established a long-term mechanism for supervision work.
Guiyang authorities identified those in need of help and formulated measures to help them.
