Officials urged to make full use of vacant rural housing

A meeting calling for the full use of the vacant rural housing was held by the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs on March 30.

Government officials attending the meeting were urged to accelerate the renovation of vacant rural housing, and strive to build a batch of rural homestays and agritainments, which are farm-based entertainment facilities, before the summer holiday.

In the meeting, it was stated that the rebuilding and renovation of rural homestays and agritainments are required to be consistent with relevant regulations and laws, to ensure housing quality.
