On April 26, Ma Xiao, head of Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, visited the cities of Hangzhou and Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province to learn about its success in grass-roots Party construction, building smart villages, and the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
In Taoyuan village of Jiaxing, Ma learned about the results of the village's grass-roots Party construction, economic development and informatization. He urged that Guiyang and Guian New Area should rely on their advantages in big data, accelerate digital village construction, help market entities to explore big data applications in rural areas, and establish rural vitalization innovation service platforms.
Huanxi village in Hangzhou is an open rural tourist destination and has won a series of honorary titles, such as national historical and cultural village and national clean city demonstration zone. After visiting the village, Ma called for the development of the agricultural product deep processing industry and for reforms to be made to rural homestays.
