8 divisions set up to ensure overall rural development

The agriculture and rural affair system of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently established four divisions to ensure high-quality development in rural areas.

The integrated support division is in charge of personnel mobilization, logistics support, and work promotion. The poverty alleviation division ensures the effective coordination of poverty alleviation results and rural vitalization, as well as follow-up support for relocated residents.

The rural economy division synergizes the development of rural services, the processing industry, and rural tourism, with particular attention paid to rural reforms, new agriculture operator cultivation, and rural resource development and transfers. The rural vitalization integrates the rural achievements in Guiyang and Guian New Area, and enhances rural infrastructure construction.

The rural law enforcement division is in charge of the pandemic and potential risk containment and prevention work. The rural governance division focuses on beautiful village construction and the improvement of the rural living environment improvement.

The farming industry division carries out work in food security, modern breeds, modern seed industry, agricultural mechanization, agricultural structure adjustment, animal and vegetation protection, and forest economy, while the breeding industry division manages husbandry, fishing, animal disease prevention and control, sewage treatment, and training for farmers.
