Tea picking contest begins

The 2023 Guizhou tea picking competition kicked off on Aug 19 in Weng'an county of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The game was the most prestigious of its kind in the province, and the Guiyang team secured one gold medal and one copper medal. A total of 50 people participated.

The competition was meant to raise tea picking efficiency, increase tea growers' incomes, and enhance the core competence of Guizhou's tea industry.
