Work groups ensure food supply in Guiyang, Guian

A work session was held on Sep 2 by the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs in which the Guiyang work plan to ensure agricultural product supplies during emergencies was issued.

Five special work groups in charge of the supply of vegetables, animal products, and agricultural products, as well as agricultural resource inspection, pandemic containment and logistical support have been set up to ensure ample supply in Guiyang and Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

On Sep 2, about 7,700 metric tons of vegetables had entered the local market. In addition, the government also investigated the local stock of chicken, pork, sea food and dairy products.
