Automated feed production powers Guizhou's agricultural expansion

As production gradually resumes following the Spring Festival, the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs is guiding and organizing agricultural enterprises to restart operations in an orderly manner.

Feed manufacturing is crucial to the livestock industry as a key component of agricultural production. Guiyang Xinxiwang Agricultural Technology Co, a leading feed production enterprise, resumed full-scale operations immediately after the holiday.

Utilizing fully automated feed processing lines, the company ensures efficient and precise production, provides high-quality feed to livestock farmers, and contributes to the development of Guizhou's livestock industry and rural vitalization.

At the company's production facility in Guanshanhu district, automated machinery is running at full capacity. A computerized control system manages the production process, ensuring high efficiency and superior product quality.

According to Yu Fei, the company's regional production manager, the company produces pig, poultry, and ruminant feed with a daily output of 400 to 500 metric tons, supplying the entire Guizhou region.

Zhou Shien, the company's general manager, forecasts a significant increase in sales and output in 2025. Total production is expected to reach 170,000 to 180,000 tons, with a value of 650 million to 700 million yuan ($88.97-95.82 million). The company aims to reduce costs and improve farmers' profitability through product innovation and cost-effective solutions.

Guiyang has actively supported agricultural enterprises in recent years through technical upgrades, financing assistance, and talent development. By 2024, the city had cultivated over 200 leading agricultural enterprises, with revenue surpassing 60 billion yuan, injecting momentum into rural vitalization.
