The rural farmlands of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province are buzzing with activity and technology as spring plowing reaches its peak.
In Gui'an's Gaofeng town, tractors equipped with the Beidou intelligent information agricultural machine terminal enhance efficiency, precision, and oversight in farming operations.

Liu Wenhe, head of Wenhe Agricultural Machinery Cooperative, shared his excitement: "Before using Beidou, we had to manually measure each field with an acreage meter. Now, all the data is instantly available on our phones, making farming much easier!"
This smart system, introduced with support from the Guiyang rural vitalization service center, utilizes China's Beidou satellite technology to collect real-time operational data, allowing farmers to monitor land conditions and ensure high-quality plowing. It integrates machine tracking, status monitoring, acreage statistics, and data analysis, optimizing every stage from plowing to harvesting.
Beyond individual farm use, the system enables regional monitoring, offering valuable data for large-scale agricultural planning. Over 230 machines in Guiyang and Gui'an have adopted this technology, accelerating the region's smart agriculture transition.
With continuous investment in mountainous intelligent farming platforms, alongside subsidies for advanced machinery, Guiyang and Gui'an are embracing a high-tech agricultural future, ensuring sustainable growth and efficiency.
