The Xiaolanshan Digital Culture Industry Ecovillage in Zhuchang town, Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, held a ceremony on March 15 to welcome new enterprises, marking the ecovillage as the first of its kind in the country.
More than 40 companies have confirmed their move to the ecovillage, with over 20 already registered in Zhuchang town.
Located near Baihua Lake, the ecovillage's development follows the "digital + culture" principle led by "culture + technology". The plan includes an industrial cluster, a demonstration area for industry integration, and a comprehensive service zone, all designed without disrupting the village's traditional landscape.
The first phase of the project, covering 86,300 square meters, is expected to accommodate 50 businesses and over 1,000 employees. In 2025, it aims for an annual output value of over 1 billion yuan ($137.68 million) and the creation of more than 300 new jobs.
In recent years, Guanshanhu has driven digital industry growth, integrating big data with real-world businesses. It is home to over 70 big data companies, making it a key player in Guizhou's tech landscape.
