In Sicun village, Machang town, Gui'an New Area, ancient tea trees with centuries of history had long grown wild due to a lack of systematic development.
In 2022, Guizhou Nianlun Technology Co and Guishan Wenyuan Cultural Company from Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone rediscovered these ancient tea resources. By integrating their strengths and collaborating with central-government-owned enterprises, they revitalized idle village land and revived the ancient trees, transforming the tea into a market sensation.
"As a digital supply chain technology company, our core advantage lies in precise market alignment. Upon learning about Sicun's abundant ancient tea resources, we immediately conducted field research to contribute to the village while protecting its ecological environment," explained Li Yubo, head of Guizhou Nianlun Technology Co.
The company established Liangshan Nianlun Tea Industry Co in partnership with Sicun and central enterprises. With Gui'an's geographic advantages and unique ancient small-leaf tea shrubs, they pioneered a sustainable "sales-supply-production" model.
Sijia's No 1 Tea Mountain yields about 10,000 kilograms of ancient tea annually. Most is directly supplied to central-government-owned enterprises through order-based models, with the remainder sold commercially. With vast untapped ancient tea resources remaining, the village welcomes more enterprises to join rural vitalization efforts.
