The "Guiyang Edible Mushroom Experiment and Demonstration Base" of the Guizhou Province Edible Mushroom Industry Technology System was inaugurated on Sept 26 at Guizhou Pinpinxian Biological Technology Co in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

As a leading enterprise in domestic industrialized mushroom production, Pinpinxian has relied on many patented technologies, advanced production lines, and established market channels to ensure rapid project implementation and efficient production.

The daily production capacity of antler mushrooms currently exceeds 30 metric tons, and once operating at full production, is expected to surpass 80 million yuan ($11.22 million) annually, creating jobs for more than 200 local villagers.

During training, the expert team answered questions and discussed topics such as fermentation of cultivation materials, cultivation of strains, standardization of production processes, and recycling of waste mushroom residue.

They hoped to use this event as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and exchanges, as well as to help companies address challenges in production and operations. The company also hopes to rely on the demonstration base's core technological support in the next phase, aiming to pursue cooperation in antler mushroom cultivation.

Through government-enterprise-research cooperation, the base will promote technology transfer and talent cultivation, encourage agricultural technicians to innovate and start businesses, drive scientific and technological innovation, and advance the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
