The Yunnong Characteristic Advantage Industry Integrated Development Demonstration Park commenced production on April 9 in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The park focuses on specialized fruit and vegetable industries. By constructing a modern agricultural value chain integrating seedling cultivation, planting, sorting, and cold-chain logistics, it represents Baiyun's efforts to accelerate agricultural modernization and rural industrial vitalization.

Covering 100 mu (6.67 hectares), the park is divided into three functional zones (A, B, and C) to support the full industrial chain. Currently, 36.1 mu of zones A and C are dedicated to the large-scale cultivation of "Fanbeile" cherry tomatoes. Additionally, 11.33 mu of unused land will be developed into a raspberry cultivation base to diversify the industry and maximize land-use efficiency.

In zone B, a nursery center spanning over 1,540 square meters has been completed. Starting in mid-to-late April, it will launch customized seedling cultivation with an annual capacity of 435,000 plants, ensuring quality control from the very beginning.

The park is expediting the construction of a sorting and packaging center. This facility will integrate cold storage, sorting, and packaging functions to enable rapid post-harvest processing and preserve product freshness.

To ensure year-round supply and maximize economic benefits, the park plans to implement a winter crop rotation strategy. During the off-season, the land will be used to grow broccoli, coriander, garlic, spinach, and crown daisy.
